Eye healed from shotgun-shell ruin
Kit Zeigle, one of the Collide young adult leaders was out shooting guns with her dad and two of her close friends when the shell on her gun recoiled back and flew into her eye. Kit, unfortunately, had not been wearing her safety goggles and because of that she was injured. Her dad rushed her to the emergency room and the doctor told her that she had a slice going right across the cornea of her eye. He ended up telling her that there really wasn’t much he could do for the pain except put her on Loratab and give her eye drops to sooth it a little more. She left the hospital in pain and with an eye patch. Immediately she began calling and texting people to begin praying for her. She got a hold of the youth pastor’s wife, Leslie Crandall, where she prayed right then and there with her over the phone. With many people praying Kit went to bed for the night believing God for a miracle. That following morning Kit woke up and went to the mirror, God had come through! There was no cut at all across her eye and she could see perfectly clear! The pain was gone, the swelling was gone and she no longer needed her eye patch! Praise God for He is Almighty!
